2011 B.H.E. POOL RULES & REGULATIONS
The pool is open to all Association Members in good standing, their guests, or registered tenants. The users are required to wear their badges.
A long blast of a lifeguard’s whistle means that everyone must clear the pool and the pool building.
All children under the age of 13 years old must be supervised by a parent or guardian 15 years old or older who will have full responsibility for the safety and conduct of the child.
All children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 15 years or older in the pool enclosure.
A deep water test is required for all swimmers under the age of 16 wishing to swim in the deep end of the pool.
Children in diapers must wear rubber or plastic containment pants i.e.: swimmies. There will be a container in the rest rooms for disposable diapers (please be sure to use it).
The lifeguards have the authority to regulate the safety and conduct of all persons within the pool and recreation area and to maintain proper conduct for the safety and enjoyment of all users of the facilities.
A. MINOR INFRACTION: 1st warning, will result in a 5 minute removal from the Pool.
B. MINOR INFRACTION: 2nd warning will result in a 15 minute removal from the Pool.
C. MINOR INFRACTION: 3rd warning will result in expulsion from the Pool for the day.
D. MAJOR INFRACTION: Will result in expulsion from the Pool for a time period to be determined by the pool committee depending on the severity of the infraction. A complaint form will be filled out and reviewed by the Pool Committee for further disciplinary action.
Do not hold conversations with a lifeguard who is on duty. Responsibilities do not allow them time for conversations, or other distractions.
Diving will be permitted only when diving area is clear.
Floatation devices and scuba gear are prohibited, unless approved by the pool committee.
Glass containers are not allowed on the patio or within the pool area.
Food and beverages, smoking, and chewing gum are not allowed within the pool area.
Running, pushing, tag games, boisterous play, etc. are not permitted on the patio, in the recreation building, or in the pool area.
The volume of audio devices must be lowered, if so requested.
Pets are not allowed in the pool area or recreation building.
There will be a "lost and found" maintained, but BHEPOA is not responsible for any personal articles left in the recreation area. Since some towels look alike, it might be a good idea to label them. PLEASE NOTE: All items left for more than 1 week, will be discarded.
Please help us to keep the area neat and clean by picking up any litter and by using the trashcans. Please place cigarette butts in the "BUTTS" containers.
Please do not use clubhouse when you have wet clothing.
SHOUTING, SWEARING or THREATENING will not be tolerated and may result in a fine and/or expulsion from the Pool.
