A BIRCH HOLLOW SENIORS
open to any community member
55 years of age or older.
We will meet twice a month on Wednesdays. These meetings are intended to enjoy each others company, to plan additional events, to play cards or board games and to inform members of events or activities outside of Birch Hollow that other seniors might enjoy. Membership dues will be $5 per month per person and will be used to provide food and refreshments for our regular meetings as well as defray the costs of additional group events.
Seniors News
Our next get together, 1/25, will be a pizza party. If you will be coming, please get to the clubhouse by 1:00 so that we have a head count. We'll order the pies and should be eating by 1:30. Bring beer or soda if you'd prefer it to coffee with your pie. Coffee, however, will be available.
On 2/1, the following Wednesday, we've decided to go out for either lunch or an early dinner, Two places were discussed: The Village Squire (on 115 just before the intersection of 940) and P.J Whelians (off 209 in Leighton). I've printed out samples of both menus which I will bring with me and we can discuss it at the Pizza Pie party on the 25th.
Other items discussed at out last meeting: a wine tasting at the Franklin Hill Vinyard in Bangor, a night time party at the clubhouse and a dinner/show at a local theater.
